The Jaume family have been making wine in the Rhone since 1826. They still own the same vineyards and some of the vines are over 100 years old. This, their truly excellent Blanc de Viognier is testament to their achievements in making white Rhone wines of top quality at accesible prices. Organic.

This is a stunning Chardonnay. Bursting with Californian sunshine, this certainly doesn't hold back, in fact it reaches out and smothers you in a warm embrace! Wonderful ripe fruit flavours include orange, nectarine and ripe peach. There is a subtle spice and notes of hazlenut and honey. This will go really well with roast chicken and any butter cooked fish.

Such a great value wine. Deliciously ripe fruit with flavours of prunes, a touch of herbiness and pepper spice, the tannins are smooth and supple and the finish is fresh - a characterful, well structured Merlot. Fresh and juicy - not the usual 'flabby and bland' Merlot you find at this price. Smooth, ripe and seriously good - this is a very easy and generous drink, sure to please the crowds. Try with steak in peppercorn sauce.

Xinisteri is a white grape native to Cyrus that has only recently come to find international acclaim. From Europe’s highest vineyards, this delicious example delivers juicy white peach and pineapple, balanced by racy acidity and herbal notes. Unoaked, mineral and fresh, the beautifully balanced palate leads to a mouth-watering finish. A unique and intriguing wine. Fabulous!

    This wine is a true reflection of its terroir, where gravelly soils meet the influence of the nearby Atlantic Ocean. Here, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines thrive, producing grapes of remarkable depth and complexity. This classic Cru Bourgeois is a blend of 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon selected from the best grapes and oldest vines on the property. Aged for 12-18 months in oak, it is generously fruited with good structure, supple tannins, and a well-balanced finish.

From the St Guilhem le Désert region in the sunny Val de Montferrand. Comprised of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Syrah, this wonderful southern French wine lives and breathes the Langueoc style. With a lush richness and an inviting character, some inclusion of whole-bunch Syrah adds a perfume and lightness to the palate. Medium-bodied and in no way overblown, there is a finesse and liveliness not often found in these grapes from this part of the world. Very 'alive' tasting. With 10 generations of organic winemaking under their belt, this family Chateau certainly know what they're doing!  ORGANIC.

Black cherry red with intense blackcurrant and typical green capsicum notes, that give way to hints of black pepper, tobacco leaf and chocolate. The palate presents medium body and very smooth, lush tannins. This wine is very easy to drink and stands out for its great balance and fresh finish.The wine was aged for 12 months, 40% in French oak barrels, 30% in American, and 30% in stainless steel tanks.

The Colchagua Valley stands in Chilé out for its Mediterranean climate with four well-defined seasons. The summers are hot and dry, which encourages proper ripening without interruptions. The valley ends at the Pacific Ocean, which has a positive effect on the vineyards because it cools the valley during the hot season.

Ideal with grilled or roasted meats, such as roast pork with wine and spice reduction, and pepper-crusted steak. Best served at 16º–17ºC in a Bordeaux-style glass.

An accomplished Chardonnay from northern Greece, that drinks more like Cru Burgundy! Perfumed aromas of melon, ripe pineapple and lemon combine with toasty butterscotch notes. Opulent and weighty, with a richly oaked texture, beautiful balance and spicy minerality on the finish. So, so good for the price - lovers of white Burgundy will be very happy here.

Forget all the bad rep Soave has from those over-cropped wines of the 1980's - this is PROPER Soave. The perfect aperitif - vibrant, fresh and elegant, with notes of citrus, white flowers and blanched almonds. It's appeal lies in it's subtlety, rather than it's power. Think ballet dancer rather than rugby player! Utterly exquisite. Prepare to rediscover this northern Italian gem. 

This really is the Holy Grail. The 'Meursault' wine at Bourgogne prices. We were honestly blown away by this and think you will be too.
Patrick Javillier makes Meursault, Volnay, and Puligny, owning land in each and on the peripheries between. The grapes for this cuvée are grown on the Volnay side of Meursault, and the vineyard quality shines through in the wine. Generous, sensuous, engaging. Rich with aromas of apricot yoghurt, lemon posset and green mango. Seamlessly bound together in subtle, nutty, toasty oak, and balanced by a bright bite of freshness on the finish. White Burgundy par-excellence.

Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Cabernet Franc, showing very ripe red fruit with some firm structure. Already drinking beautifully (and will for some time yet); and as ever a very superior Bordeaux Rouge - winner of a Gilbert & Gaillard gold medal 2018. We sold pallets and pallets of the 2016 vintage, but arguably the 2016 is even better: The cooler nights of 2018 brought a little more finesse to the reds - a trait that we much admire in Bordeaux. Drink now till 2026.

The family now own 52 acres including a hectare of Valmur Grand Cru. This is from a single vineyard 1er Cru vineyard. White gold with green tints, the nose reveals mint and pineapple. The palate is powerful yet restrained with fine acidity and a creamy texture.

Bright peach, pear and lemon flavours are supported by an elegant flinty backbone and just a touch of spice in this pure and charming Austrian white, made with minimal intervention and employing biodynamic methods at a small family winery. So clean, precise and rivetting. A new favourite.

Gérald Lafont and Baptiste Olivier are known throughout France as two of the Rhône Valley's top oenologists. Their consulting work for many of the best estates throughout the region and in Provence has given them access to a percentage of the grape yield from some of the highest acclaimed vineyards in the region. Their collective wine-making knowledge and experience, combined with their access to some of the top fruit in the region, allows them to consistently create some of the best value wines in the Rhône today.

A luscious blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah and 10% Cinsault. Made from vines up to 70 years of age, the deep roots mine the mineral depths of one of the world's most famous terroirs. Such deep, entrancing aromas emanate from the glass; a rich blend of red and dark berry fruit, mixed with notes of earth, garrigue herbs, and hints of spice. It is structured and full-bodied, yet soft and sensual. Wonderfully minerality runs throughout the wine, mingling with lush cassis and dark jammy fruits that caress the palate.

Not just another pretty pink rosé, this is Pinot Noir rosé with substance; delicate and dry but with enough substance to keep coming back, glass after glass. The lesser-known white grape of Burgundy, Aligote is a hidden gem that performs very similarly to Chardonnay in the glass, with rounded nutty tones, creamy notes and a fresh acidity. As classic Burgundy gets more expensive, Aligote offers brilliant value for money from the same terroirs. And terroir is what Burgundy is all about.

A blend of two grapes native to Macedonia and rarely seen outside of the country. Complex and inviting aromas of bramble, damson plum, and wild cherry combine with subtle hints of vanilla and toasty, savoury notes. Beautifully textured with a mouth-filling palate of ripe fruits against a mineral backdrop leading to a long-lasting finish. A truly stunning wine at this price. The wine is made from a blend of the two classic varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The soil at WW is ideal for sparkling wine.  Vines are planted on free-draining loam over flint and chalk on gentle southeast slopes.  Made by Emma Rice and Jacob Leadley, winemakers at Hattingley Valley, near Winchester.  Emma has been UK wine maker of the year twice.

2019 current release

This Pinot Noir with garnet-colored juice is perfumed with fine spices (nutmeg and cinnamon), mocha, and Montmorency cherry.  Its texture finds its balance in a generous flavor that is felt in a velvety tannin highlighting the finesse of the grape variety.

The vineyards is full of Turitelles fossils, these marine sediments are carried by a limestone and clay base, forming sloping plateaus in the landscape, on which the vineyard is located. This terroir in the foothills of the Pyrenees is known for the quality of its hillsides and its sunny and cool microclimate.

What a stunnnig combination, and a stunning wine! Chenin and Grenache Blanc really complement each other here. Both varietals love the Coastal Region’s arid soils and Mediterranean climate due to their inherent tolerance to drought. Both components were naturally fermented in 600 litre French oak barrels. The Chenin blanc comes from an old, low-yielding Franschhoek vineyard planted in 1962. This brings freshness and tightness to the blend, the old vines also bring Wildeberg’s hallmark texture. The Grenache Blanc is from vibrant, younger plantings Paarl, adding body and structure with this cultivars naturally exotic notes of jasmine and white spice. gentle oak influence - 65% 2nd fill and 35% 3rd fill barrels - simply to allow a little oxygen to soften and broaden this wine. A nose of warm sand and crushed rocks, there climbs a note of jasmine flowers, following through onto the palate with a breadth of texture and generosity from the old bush vine Chenin, veiled with white spice and exotic notes from the younger, alluring Grenache Blanc, the whole ultimately finishing rich, yet fresh and textural. This would be great with Pad Thai, dishes using fresh herbs and dairy or a chicken ceaser. Incredible value here.

Taste a piece of history! Revived by the great-great-grandson of the original James eadie, this blend brings together the single malts of the range into a wonderfully full and expressive whisky that surpasses the sum of its parts. Regular award winner.

Nose: Raisins drizzled with spiced rum and Sherry, a hint of grassy peat, oily walnut.

Palate: Mexican chocolate, ripe red berries, brown sugar, another waft of soft peat smoke.

Finish: Juicy apricot and pear notes last on the finish.

At an altitude of 365 metres, Monthelie overlooks the Auxey-Duresses and Meursault valleys. The Changarnier family has lived in this village for several centuries, founding the domaine in 1720. Now, Claude and Antoine Changarnier continue this wine-growing tradition. Their professional careers carried them far from the wine world, but their Burgundy roots remain anchored in this terroir.

A Traditional Method sparkler made entirely from Chardonnay grapes. And a great alternative to an aperitif Champagne!

This sparkling wine has an expressive and very well-developed body with considerable finesse. Its fine fruit and its tangy acidity contribute to an elegant and very harmonious wine. A sparkling wine for every occasion.

Wines from the Dao region represent some of the finest in Portugal. A Jaen (Mencia)-led blend, which also features some Touriga Nacional, aged without oak to retain a pure, fruit-driven style.

With typical Dáo freshness, this is an authentic reflection of this high-quality region. Subtle yet complex, showing fresh redcurrant and cranberry from the Jaen, mellowed by bramble, sloe, and forest-floor notes that bring to mind mushrooms and sweet earth. A savoury/herbal note balances the fruit wonderfully. Medium bodied and immensely drinkable, we were blown away by the quality and value of this wine. Ideal with game or try lightly chilled as an aperitif. Fans of Pinot noir will find much to like here.

Maias is the local name for the Weaver's Broom plant which surrounds the estate here and features on the label. Its yellow flowers blossom in May in this part of Dao, hence its nickname, as Maio is the word for May

Domaine des Tourelles Red is from one of the oldest and most highly acclaimed wineries in the Bekaa Valley. Blended from old vine Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Cinsault, this is a rich, fruity red with ripe plum and cherry fruit and silky tannins. Just made for lamb & aubergine dishes.

Founded in 1868 by French adventurer François-Eugène Brun, this was the first commercial cellar in Lebanon producing wines. Artisan winemaking skills and traditions are applied to their handcrafted wines - this includes minimum intervention in the vineyards and cellar, use of indigenous natural yeasts, no fining or filtering, and only very small amounts of sulphur. Domaine des Tourelles is classified amongst the finest boutique wineries of the Middle East.

A fresh and rounded southern Italian white with a mineral twist.

From Tufo in Campania, the grape variety Greco was introduced by the Greeks over 2000 years ago. It's fresh and clean but with the roundness and ripe fruit of the warmer southern Mediterranean climate. Stone fruits such as apricot and peach stand out along with hints of pear.
Try it with white meats and seafood.

Special Cuvée is the result of a masterful blending using a majority of Reserve wines, including some aged for more than 15 years in Bollinger’s cellars. In 1911, Bollinger’s British agent gave the idea for the name Special Cuvée - “special” written the English way, without an accent. He thought the French expression “Brut sans année” was no match for such a subtle champagne… More than a hundred years later, the name of Bollinger’s key figure champagne still symbolizes both its expertise and its history. A golden colour with a beautifully fine mousse. The nose is aromatic and complex with ripe fruit and spicy aromas. Roasted apples, apple compote and peaches burst on the palate. Brioche and notes of fresh walnut linger on the lasting finish. A subtle combination of structure, length and vivacity.

 Grapes are sourced from the Lugana and Peschiera del Garda areas (north-west of Verona). The grapes
are softly pressed with a short maceration on the skins and fermented at a low temperature in stainless
steel tanks. The wine rest for a few months in stainless steel before being bottled. A subtle and restrained white with delicate stone fruit and lightly nutty aromas. The palate is textural
with more nutty characters and good concentration, all beautifully balanced by peachy fruit, a dash of
lime, and taut acidity on the finish.

Distilled with nine botanicals, Cotswolds Dry Gin is a London Dry with an aromatic twist. Juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, local lavender, bay leaf, hand-peeled fresh lime and pink grapefruit zest, cardamom and black peppercorn are distilled in a copper pot still, resulting in a rich and robust, award-winning gin.

Cotswolds Distillery does not remove the essential oils in their gin as these create a rich flavour and mouthfeel. As a result, the gin forms a unique pearlescent cloud when ice or tonic is added, and it tastes delicious!

Pinot noir from Beaujolais, as quirky as the vigneron himself. Jean-Paul Brun is quite a legend in Beuajolais. He works organically and avoids sulphite use, creating Beaujolais Villages wines, a stunning Chardonnay (also available from us) and this, his Pinot noir. The additional warmth and granitic soils of the 'Terres Dorees' give this Pinot a vibrancy and character all of its own. Retaining the elegance of Burgundy, yet with a little more of a wild side. Enjoy it for it's youthfulness and energy.

A tight, minerally wine with classic Hamilton Russell Vineyards length and complexity. Unusually prominent pear and lime fruit aromas and flavours are brought beautifully into focus by a tight line of bright natural acid and a long, dry minerality. An elegant, yet textured and intense wine with a strong personality of both place and vintage.

Attractive, juicy, bramble fruit and floral aromas, the palate is up-front and fresh with warm spice and real depth.

Lovely with BBQs; grilled meats, halloumi and vegetables. Herby sausages, pasta with Mediterranean vegetables.

GRENACHE NOIR 70%, CINSAULT 30% The grapes are sourced from vineyards cultivated near to Lake Thau, set in a formerly volcanic region just inland from the sea. This has a particular micro-climate – as the proximity of the water has a moderating affect on the typically Mediterranean temperatures, allowing optimal ripening whilst retaining fresh acidity. The grapes are harvested in the early morning, then the wine is vinified as a classic rosé de presse, with soft pressing and cold fermentation.

Intense ruby colour, violet notes. Lightly tannic, full and persistent aroma. Well balanced and easily drinkable.

Sambuca di Sicilia is an area which has produced fabulous grapes for centuries and Cantine Cellaro's wines are an incomparable expression for this historical area of vines.

Great with red meat, barbecued and grilled meat, excellent with first courses, game birds and seasoned cheese. Try it with eggplant Caponata or braised cauliflower 'Vrocculi Affucati'.

This exceptional Pinot Nero is produced in tiny quantities from Cavit's very best vineyards. A very fine example of the grape by any standards. Grown on the south-west and south-east facing slopes around Povo; a mixture of glacial limestone and volcanic soils. Hand-harvested in mid-September. The must is fermented in contact with the skins for 10 days, and matured for 20 months in 225 litre French oak barriques. The wine spends around 10 months in bottle before release.

Coterie – a small group with shared tastes or interests - and a group we enjoy being part of with wines of this quality! Wildeberg’s rationale is to source the finest vineyards available across Franschhoek and the Coastal Region. These cuvees are selected to go into Coterie by Wildeberg.

Quite a grown-up wine, this is a textural, gently muscular expression of Cabernet Franc with Malbec. A Loire-inspired combination that was new in this South African model, but certainly a wonderful discovery. One wonders why it isn't being done elsewhere, but perhaps this special terroir plays as much a part. Rich, deep, and plummy from the Malbec, with fresh, herbaceous character supplied by the Cab Franc. Barrel fermented for 20 months. Great with grilled meats, especially lamb and spiced meat dishes.

Gold medal winning Malbec from the fantastic Los Haroldos winery in Mendoza, Argentina. Deep, rich and unctuous. Layers of Chocolate, mocha, and dark berry fruit, with a touch of tobacco and sweet spice. Something a little bit special here - not your supermarket Malbec. Barrel aged for 11 months and super satisfying.

With its funky, wonky bottle, this is instantly eye-catching, but this wine is no novelty! Made from the Nebbiolo grape - of greater fame in Barolo - but making no less of a wine here. And easier to approach in early years. Aromas of eucalyptus, exotic spice, underbrush and aromatic herb lead the nose. The tightly knit palate offers cranberry, dried cherry, star anise and clove set against taut, close-grained tannins. Winner of the GamberoRosso Italian wine award for the region. An off-piste but truly rewarding wine from Piedmont. Bolognese anyone?

Biodynamically farmed and 100% organic. A delicious blend of Sauvignon Blanc 57%, Chenin Blanc 39%, Semillon 4%. The Sauvignon Blanc aromas are prominent on the nose, with beautiful lime and prickly pear notes. Intense flavours, with great balance. A tight mineral core and creamy mid palate from the Chenin Blanc allows for great complexity and a persistent finish. The Sauvignon Blanc lends lovely, fresh acidity to the wine. The wine is made as naturally as possible with no added acids or enzymes. Quite frankly this is really outstanding value for a wine from low yieding vines, hand picked and transported to vinification on pack horses!

Russolo Doi Raps is a white wine of rare elegance and freshness, a blend of Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc from the high quality region of Fruili-Venezia-Giulia. The nose reveals warm and intense aromas that immediately bring to mind ripe fruits and roses, remeniscent of Gewurztraminer. In the mouth it is pleasantly soft, round, well supported by an excellent acidic shoulder and overall elegance. Closes with a nice return on the fruit before a final clean and excellent persistence. Soft and enveloping, it is a wine to pair with first courses based on shellfish, such as linguine with lobster. Also excellent as an aperitif or with Asian cuisine.

Made from 100% Grand Cru & Premier Cru, Ayala Blanc de Blancs fully expresses the superb calibre of great Chardonnay from the best crus of the Côte des Blancs. It  is produced in small quantities, and only in exceptional years and benefits from 5 years ageing in the cellars which helps intergrate the remarkable minerality and complex flavours. Produced from the Grand Crus; Cramant, Chouilly and Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger, and also Premier Crus; Cuis and Vertus.

Tasting Note: Bright, pale yellow with white gold glints A delicate but expressive nose, showing wonderful aromatic freshness with notes of white fruits and lime. A striking voluptuous and vibrant silky texture on the palate. Passion fruits, citrus fruit, peaches and subtle notes of acacia honey. Voluminous, toasty, and extremely refined. 

The Dveri Pax estate belongs to the Benedictine Monastery of Admont and wine has been made here since 1139 A.D. The Pax wine is made from local grape Furmint, blended with Pinot Gris, with an enlivening splash of Riesling. Dry, crisp, brightly fruited and mineral, this could literally be the Holy Grail! So refreshing and moreish; a real customer favourite for its originality and personality.

A much overlooked category, Manzanilla sherry has so much to offer and is the perfect aperitif. Totally bone dry, with its distinctive savoury character of green olive, salted almonds, seaside freshness and tang; in fact, the perfect partner to all those things, whether or not you have a beachside seat.

Ayala's zero-dosage Champagne. A lean, fresh, taut-yet-supple Champagne, given texture and body from extended lees ageing. Apple fresh, with pleasing preserved lemon and brioche notes. Delicious and ultimately refreshing. Perfect with oysters and sushi. Or fish and chips!

Proper Barolo, from a single vineyard in the commune of Bussia - one of the most highly rated of all. Firm, aromatic nose, showing red berries, delicate herbaceous and spicy nuances, hint of black berries, dried floral notes and mushrooms. Clear, bright, tart and juicy fruit with light roasted nutty notes and tobacco. One to enjoy now or will happily cellar for 10 years plus.

Amoterra means to ‘love the land’. Organic Italian wines of typicity and value, making sustainable produce more accessible. Bright and expressive floral aromas follow through on the palate which is concentrated and vibrant with juicy apricot, green apple and pear fruit, and mineral notes. Lovely as an aperitif or white meats and fish.

Maias Branco Quinta das Maias, Organic, high altitude vineyard, Dao, Mavalsia, Encruzado, crisp, fresh, delightful. A fantastic little organic wine made in the lesser known Dao region of Portugal. The Dao is a hot continental climate but parts are covered by a high plateau and some of the vineyard sites are located here at a over 600 metres above sea level. Quinta das Maias is one of those estates. The 15 hectares of vines are in different parcels and all are organic. The high altitude gives lovely acidity to the wine. The white is crisp, yet soft, stone fruits of white peach dominate with a zesty finish. Very drinkable and approachable white wine for all occasions.
