Our best-selling white wine, and for good reason. From South Africa’s Western cape, where vineyards have been planted for centuries. Old vine Chenin gives texture, honeyed fruits and crisp apple acidity, whilst the Viognier imparts weight, balance and deep, ripe tropical notes. South Arica is producing some great wines right now, and this is amazing value. A brilliant all-rounder; enjoy with salty nibbles such as cheese straws or roasted nuts for an easy-going start to any evening.

The vineyards of Villa Enzo are positioned on the gentle slopes of Abruzzo and this wine is made in the traditional way from 100% Montepulciano grapes. There is no influence of oak so this purple/ruby coloured wine offers pure, vibrant aromas of red cherry fruit. The satisfying palate is rich with juicy fruit and very approachable, soft tannins. A classic Italian wine.

Grenache and Cinsault blend from the sunny Pays D'Oc. Fruit-forward and rounded, with surprisingly good texture and concentration for a rose at this price point. We worked hard to find it! Strawberry and spice, with a lengthy finish. A great aperitif, but equally good for sunny lunches.

Percheron is a French breed of workhorse, and this is our "workhorse" red. It is a real stalwart and hugely popular. Medium bodied, full of red fruit flavours and oh so clean on the palate. Tremendous value.

A great partner to rich and savoury red meat dishes such as salt-marsh lamb, or a gutsy bean casserole.

Delicious ripe peach and melon, with a twist of pink grapefruit zest and the freshness of a sea breeze. An enchantingly pale, copper coloured rosé - even more sophisticated looking than its chic cousins from Provence - with a lovely weight and texture across the length of the palate and a dusting of Southern French spice.

A perfect apéritif, either on its own or served with slices of saucisson and fresh gougères. Also ideal with summery lunches outdoors.

Our favourite entry-level Italian white from the Monferrato hills made from Cortese, the Gavi grape. A quintessential northern Italian dry white produced in an easy-drinking, fresh style. Fresh, primary fruit aromas of green apples, grapefruit and ripe citrus fruit on the nose with lightly honeyed, lemony notes on the palate. The finish is fresh and crisp with citrus flavours, a hint of almond and mineral touches. Great value and delicious.
