Ramsbury Gin is a rare thing, one of the few single estate gins made in the UK. Ramsbury believe that you can't make great gin without first making great vodka. Ramsbury Gin starts its journey on the estate as Horatio wheat. It is then distilled through their 43 plate copper still, creating a base spirit that gives the gin an incredibly smooth texture.

Domaine L’Ancienne Cure Jour de Fruit Monbazillac  is a wonderfully rich sweet wine made from low yields of late-harvested, botrytised, Semillon (90%) and Muscadelle (10%).  It has flavours of marzipan, orange peel and spices. Christian Roche has emerged in the last five years as one of the best growers in this appellation. A wonderful alternative to Sauternes, and better for youthful drinking.

A wonderful Fino Sherry from the Solera Familiar range at Lustau. The nose is laced with scents of the sea and profound "flor" aromas. Clean and fresh, with a slight taste of tangy yeast. While most Fino Sherry is aged in Jerez, the Fino Del Puerto is aged in the cool and humid air of El Puerto de Santa Maria.

Emilio Lustau has a long history of sherry production dating back to 1896 and is the only winery in the Sherry Triangle that produces wine in its three main towns: Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Totally unique to St. George’s Distillery. A local farming estate has been making their own Nog for generations, and very kindly allowed the distillery to borrow/steal the recipe. Kaiyo's stock of Mizunara oak casks is its pride and joy. Known to impart a subtle and unusual collection of aromas and flavours to whisky during maturation, it's this wood which is often credited with setting Japanese whisky apart. Kaiyo doubles down on its cask maturation, sending the full casks off to sea for months at a time, allowing the natural motion to ensure constant movement, and thus contact between whisky and wood. Heidi Schröck took over her family winery in 1983, in the historic village of Rust situated in the province of Burgenland about 5 miles from the Hungarian border. As Heidi explains “South-facing vineyards in a softly rolling landscape form an amphitheater around Rust on Lake Neusiedl bringing forth some of the best and most tradition-rich wines in Austria. Yearly hours of sunshine that lie much higher than the Austrian average combined with sandy soils mixed with clay and high calcium content provide the ideal prerequisites for impressive, full-bodied wines.

Medium sweet with rich, ripe stone fruit, green mango, and waxy-honeyed tones but with a refreshing seam of acidity that makes the wine buoyant and light. So much complexity here, and so much quality.

Taylor’s Historical Collection is a series of limited editions that pay homage to the changing shape of Port bottles since the early 18th Century. The first release was a charmingly dumpy bottle lovingly named “The Onion”, the second was a flatter flagon and a bestseller at Harvey Nichols called “The Chestnut”, and the latest is “The Mallet”. This striking shape had become well established in the UK by the 1730s and shows the progression from the globular bottle (that didn’t allow cellar ageing) towards the more modern cylindrical style we’re familiar with today.

This is an exceptional Tawny Port that is ready to drink and requires no decanting. A blend of carefully curated Ports from Taylor’s extensive Tawny stocks stored at Vila Nova de Gaia, all of which have been matured for long periods in wooden barrels imparting deep, nutty flavours. The result is very Christmassy, displaying plum, fig, sultana, raisin and marzipan notes, alongside leather, coffee, butterscotch, cigar box, and woody spices. We recommend serving at around 12-16°C with a cheeseboard, dark chocolate-based desserts, or festive fare such as Christmas cake, figgy pudding, stollen and mince pies.

Taylor’s hold the Royal Warrant as one of the Suppliers of Port Wine to Her Majesty The Queen. Although steeped in history as you would expect of a family-run business established in 1692, the forward-thinkers at Taylor’s are also committed to sustainable viticulture and have installed solar panels on three of their properties.

The second permanent expression within The Hearach single malt range, The Hearach Oloroso Cask Matured launched on 24 September 2024, exactly one year after the historic release of the distillery’s inaugural whisky.

The lightly peated (12-15ppm) whisky is entirely matured in first-fill oloroso sherry butts, as you might have guessed from the name, sourced from the respected Bodega José y Miguel Martín in Andalusia, Spain. The Hearach Oloroso Cask Matured is bottled at 46% ABV, with no colour added, and non-chill filtered. The below tasting note comes from Harrison Wood, blender at the Isle of Harris Distillery.

NOSE - Fresh notes of apricot, peach, mango and papaya 
are all immediately present, joined by thick beeswax 
and marzipan, with an undercurrent of green tea and 
cut grass.
TASTE - Creamy, thick and full-bodied, as Greek yoghurt, 
honeyed oats and white grapes combine with more 
savoury flavours of burnt caramel and camomile.

Aged in ex-rum casks made from the Mizunara Oak that grows in northern Japan. The twisted growth-habit makes for particularly difficult cooperage, but imparts a wonderful flavour and allows for a long, slow, micro-oxygenation through 8+ years of ageing.

Produced by the Giulio Cocchi Spumanti company, this is a classic vermouth which was first produced in 1891. It is based on a recipe with Moscato wine, sourced from Asti, near Turin.

A Chilean Pisco made from Muscat grapes, resulting in an aromatic, floral and well-rounded spirit, sure to go handsomely in a Pisco Sour. The name, El Gobernador, means "the Governor" in Spanish. The heavily-moustached chap on the label certainly looks like someone you'd refer to as "Governor".

A premium gin, Citadelle was originally developed in a Dunkirk distillery in the late 18th Century, and at the time Dunkirk was one of the earliest European ports for explorers of the Orient, who brought back herbs and spices from the Far East. The result is a fabulous gin made with 19 different botanicals including Moroccan Coriander, French Juniper, Mexican Orange Peel and Chinese Liquorice.

Lágrima (meaning 'tears') is the sweetest style of white Port. An intense yet elegant sweet wine with notes of caramel, honey, and nut - all balanced by fresh acidity and leading to a long and appealing finish. The grapes are grown on the schistous soils of the Douro region. Vinification is in closed fermentation tanks, which is interrupted through the addition of grape brandy to preserve a high degree of natural sweetness. The wine is then aged in wood in Wiese & Krohn's cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.

Drink chilled as an aperitif, or with fruity desserts. It has been filtered, so won't need decanting - once opened it should 'keep' and be enjoyable for a few weeks.

"Born in Venice in 1920" Aperitivo Select is made with a selection of 30 botanicals, and it's the star ingredient in the a Venetian Spritz - carefully mix three parts Prosecco with two parts Select and one part soda over ice, and then garnish with a green olive and a slice of orange.

Romani Levi's Grappa Moscato is produced in a single batch, using an open-flame alembic and matured in 225 litre barriques made from a variety of woods. The palate is light and sweet, with fruity notes of orange, peach and red apple throughout. The Levi family has a history of distilling in the region which dates back generations, this recipe sticks to that perfected by Romano Levi. A collectors piece.

Unusually for a gin these days, the base spirit is produced from grapes (rather than grain) which was traditionally used in juniper spirits in the 14th century.Sing Gin hails from Yorkshire, aiming to capture the spirit of the Yorkshire Dales in a bottle. It's named after Kettlesing, the village where the family behind the gin live. The seven hand-crushed botanicals include juniper, mint, orange peel and, rather unusually, flax, which was chosen for its historical significance as an old Yorkshire crop.  A smooth gin which manages to balance historical and contemporary components.

A 'triple-sec' liqueur made from Oranges with an absolutely delicious flavour. An essential ingredient in the Margarita cocktail, but very good on its own or over ice. 70cl

Appleton Estate Kingston 62 White Rum is dry and spicy with buttery, vanilla and oak notes. Distilled, blended & bottled on the Appleton Estate since 1749, this Jamaica spirit is a classic expression of the rum-maker’s art. The rum is aged for 2 years and charcoal-filtered to remove colour and impurities.

A splendid red aperitif hailing from the Bordeaux region of France, Lillet Rouge is less famous than its Blanc sister (so beloved of James Bond) and will add welcome pep to your Manhattans and Negronis.

French Aperitif made from a blend of wine, liqueurs, fruits and herbs. It originated in the French village of Podensac and has been made since the late 1800s. Lillet Blanc is made from white wine and is drier than Lillet Rouge, its red-wine counterpart. Both are classically served over ice with an orange twist.

Lillet is a blend of rigorously selected wines and fruit liqueurs, aged in oak vats for around 12 months, during which it is given the same care as the Grands Crus (great wines) of Bordeaux.

Lillet Blanc has a golden colour with candied orange, honey, pine resin, lime and fresh mint aromas. Full and rich on the palate with a lovely, long aftertaste. Always serve well chilled in a Bordeaux wine glass... zest with a slice of orange or lime. Perfect with snacks and desserts!

Lillet blanc is the key ingredient in James Bond's Martini derivative, the Vesper, a drink created in deference to the beautiful double agent in Ian Fleming's Casino Royale and reffered to as Kina Lillet.

Founded by husband and wife team Daric Schlesselman and Sarah Ludington in 2012, Van Brunt Stillhouse was inspired by the pioneering spirit of Cornelius Van Brunt, who was a farmer in the Dutch colony of Breukelen. The American spirit is aged in small casks for 18 months to develop the unique depth of flavour, including honey, clover and marmalade notes for a sweet profile. The perfect way to finish off the evening.

An absolute classic French vermouth aperitif. Like Lillet Blanc, the main grape variety in Lillet Rosé is Sémillon. These wines are combined with natural liqueurs, handcrafted in Podensac from sweet and bitter oranges and berries. It is this meticulously balanced blend that gives Lillet Rosé its delicate aromas.

Campari - an absolute classic from Italy.

Campari Bitter is one of the best known and most successful bitter liqueurs worldwide. The half-bitter liqueurs known in Italy as Amaro were used, originally, because of their digestive effect and were sold exclusively in pharmacies. However, as people began to appreciate and enjoy them more, other entrepreneurs began to produce the bitter for their own drinking purposes. Gaspare Campari was one of them and in 1862 presented his "Bitter all'uso d'Hollandia" for the first time in his own bar in the Galleria in Milan. And so Campari Bitter was born! 86 ingredients shape its flavour, including spices, herbs, fruits and roots from around the world. 

The most popular and classic way to enjoy Campari is as an aperitif. To do so simply pour the bitter liqueur over a few ice cubes. Even in long drinks, this Italian drink always taste great. You could try it for example, combined with soda, orange juice or other mixers such as Tonic Water. The bitters taste particularly great in cocktails like a Negroni. The combination of Campari, Gin and Vermouth with an orange zest is one of the absolute classics in the cocktail world- definitely a drink that you should mix with Campari.

Distilled with Macedonian juniper, lemon verbena, rose petals, pink peppercorns and orange blossom among its botanicals, this delicately pink gin offers notes of fresh lemon peel, garden herbs, red fruits, white flowers and subtle, peppery spice.
