A great classic Burgundy, ideal with braised or roasted meats or a brioche sausage.

Bright ruby color. Fragrances of peony on greedy aromas of red fruits, spices and fine woody notes. The attack is frank, with a very fine aromatic expression. Beautiful energy on a supple texture and well-integrated tannins. Good length with spicy notes.

Ruby red in colour. Fruity aromas of ripe berries with balsamic notes on the nose predict an alternation between sweetness and acidity in the mouth. Its sweet-acid components evoke raspberry and ripe blackberry. Spicy finish recalls star anise and pink pepper. Powdery tannins.

Beautiful deep color with brick red halo. Nose of good depth, sweet and harmonious, somewhat witty, rich, soft touches of dark chocolate and cherry (cherry tomato).

Harmonious and elegant wine, some quality structure with amazing spice and mint notes, very crisp fruit, soft. A very enjoyable Vintage Port, now with good tannins to carry it through to old age. Seems softer than usual.

Nose closing in. Lots of fruit, black currant and blackberry, really intense jam with cocoa notes and firm but silky tannins. A powerful Vintage Port. Quality ripe fruit, good expression, cherry, a lovely character.

Excellent with nuts in particular, but also suits soft cheeses and crème caramel. Similarly superb on it’s own. Do not over chill in order to appreciate the more delicate flavours.

Deep amber in colour with dried fruit and woody aromas. Full and rich on the palate. Warming flavours of raisins and walnut. Sweet with a lasting, smooth finish.

A delicious alternative to the classic champagne breaksfast, serve with eggs benedict and criossants or posh bacons sandwiches. Or do as the they do in the Barossa and pop one open on Christmas lunch with your turkey and cranberry sauce!

Beneath a rich shade of crimson lies at its heart a deep, complex stucture. Full of dried cranberry, cacao, blueberry and cherry. This wine is bold yet dazzling with a mosaic of flavours and a finish to match. Cellar up to 10 years.

In 1773 a rich Liverpudlian merchant named John landed by chance on the Marsala coast and was the first to make marsala wine by adding alcohol to local wine to take it with him to England.

Intense amber in colour. Aromas of apricot and carob, lifted by delicate notes of thyme and black pepper. The palate is full and warm, with flavours of apricot and candied fruit.

A new-age Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon (blended with Malbec), expressing all the regional hallmarks. It is a bright, fruit-forward, earlier-drinking style with attractive savoury nuances from Vasse Felix’s quality-led, minimal intervention winemaking approach.

Old Vines of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Shiraz are blended from many old vine sites that make up the rich vinous heritage of the Barossa Valley. A combination of terroirs contribute to the complexity of this wine.

A lifted aromatic of red fruits from Grenache balanced with savoury aromas from Mourvedre. Cherry, pomegranate, wet earth, are also evident. The palate is medium bodied with soft tannins and long acidity. A wine to match with lamb and game meats.

Tedeschi Lucchine Valpolicella DOC Classico is a rich and aromatic red wine that has a deep ruby red colour and a complex bouquet of red berries, cherries, and violets. Made from a blend of indigenous grape varieties such as Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara, this wine has a bold and full-bodied taste that is enhanced by its 12 months of aging in oak barrels. Tedeschi Lucchine Valpolicella DOC Classico is best paired with meat dishes, aged cheeses, and hearty stews. This is a perfect wine for those who appreciate the rich flavours and aromas of traditional Italian red wines.

Sourced exclusively from the Te Mata Estate’s own vineyards, the Estate Vineyards wines represent the best qualities of their variety, vintage and Hawke’s Bay origin.

An intense bright-dark crimson, Estate Cabernet/Merlot shows immediate ripe raspberry, wild blackberry and black plum, all set against dark chocolate and velvety tannins. Sumptuous layers of flavour run from rich fruit to sandalwood, French Vanilla, and pipe tobacco. With power, presence and length, Estate Cabernet/Merlot delivers great pleasure right through its palate.

Chestnut colour with golden highlights. Characteristic Madeira bouquet of dried fruits, marmalade, wood and toffee. Sweet and smooth in the mouth with notes of oak and chocolate.

Ruby red in color with violet tints, on the nose it shows fresh red and black fruits, with hints of spices and nuts. On the palate it is delicate, with great acidity and firm tannins that give it nerve and structure. It shows its best facet accompanying beef roasts, stews, empandas and charcuterie.

Pale and delicate pink in color, it shows a fine, intense, persistent, and elegant bubble. On the nose, fruity aromas dominate (red fruits and citrus), while the palate is fresh, intense, and wild, characteristic of the ancestral and noble País variety.

This Manzanilla has been aged for 8 years before bottling, making it a ‘Pasada’ style. The extra ageing on a ‘pasada’ builds complexity, body and adds a hint of oxidation as the veil of ‘flor’ begins to thin. It is also an ‘En Rama’ or ‘raw’ manzanilla meaning the wine has been bottled straight from the cask with no fining or filtration to preserve the body and freshness. The ‘Pastora’, or ‘shepherdess’, was the first Manzanilla brand launched by Barbadillo in 1827. The brand was resurrected in 2014 to launch this wine – Barbadillo’s finest Manzanilla.

This blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache highlights the characteristics of the appellation and the biodiversity of the terroir. Whilst respecting tradition, it is also in tune with the times. ‘La Petite Villa’ starts us off on the road to ‘Villa Mon Rêve’.

A dark cherry colour with garnet highlights, heralding a full-bodied, expressive wine. On the nose, a bouquet of black fruit and spices reveals notes of black cherry, blackberry and clove. This initial nose is supported by fresh aromas of peppermint and sweet cocoa bean notes. On the palate, a fine structure emerges with a supple, intense attack, offering a pleasant velvety texture and a spicy finish with young but promising tannins. Aromas of black fruit, garrigue, cocoa, pink pepper and fresh tobacco unfold fully, offering a rich, complex taste experience.

We called it “Figure Libre” because we have chosen the freedom of creation and expression, combining the subtleness of the Loire with the bold character of the Languedoc. Away from the rigours of the appellation, in 2004 we planted the grape varieties which we felt would be the best suited, those most able to reveal the expression and the qualities of our Brugairolles sandstone terroir. Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc, rarely grown in the region, originate from the Loire Valley, home of Winemaker Vincent Chansault.

A very bright, deep, intense golden yellow colour with silver highlights. Its brilliant luminosity is an invitation to taste. The nose reveals aromas of ripe fruit, dominated by notes of quince paste and subtle hints of candied fruit brioche. Accents of mandarin peel add a welcome freshness, harmoniously blended with floral notes of jasmine and a delicate hint of fresh vanilla pod. The attack on the palate is intense and expressive, full of elegance, marked by a sweetness enhanced by a zest of bergamot. Freshness dominates throughout, with lively grapefruit flavours. The finish is long and lingering, enhanced by a hint of white pepper, adding a lovely spicy dimension. The balance offers perfect harmony between aromatic richness and freshness.

Pretty raspberry colour, brightened by blackcurrant highlights that immediately evoke an intense sensory experience. On the nose, the wine offers a crisp, fruity experience, reminiscent of a basket of sun-drenched wild berries. Notes of redcurrant and blackberry dominate, creating a bewitching atmosphere. On the palate, the first impression is of the vegetal characteristic of the Cabernet Franc grape yet the fruit still comes through strongly. The attack evokes a harmonious balance between freshness and liveliness. The taut mid-palate brings out notes of redcurrant and cherry, offering an elegant range of fruity flavours. The finish, marked by firm tannins, is offset by the lovely vegetal character. The recognisable notes of green pepper mingle with delicate spices, notably coriander, to create its distinctive signature and add a layer of complexity to the whole.

Kalliope is made from white grape vines planted six years ago. It is a wink to our great grandmother who was from Crete and her perpetual good mood. It is also the name of one of the children of Greek god Zeus.

This cuvee shows the real potential of white wines made from schist soils. It is fine and complex and has great minerality.

The fresh and mineral attack is supported by nice roundness. It’s an appealing wine that unveils its secrets all along the tasting.

It will pair perfectly with fish. For example a tartar of sea bream with artichoke hearts or gorgonzola risotto.

Clos del Rey Sabina White is a zesty and fresh blend of Grenache Blanc and Grenache Gris that balances opulent fruit with vibrant freshness. Lemon yellow in colour, it shows aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus, and subtle exotic and mineral notes. On the palate, it’s generous, with fantastic pure fruit and a lively acidity leading to a mouthwatering finish that echoes fresh fruit. This is a really well-made Côtes du Roussillon white wine with that is just a joy to drink.

 Grape varieties: 60% Cinsault – 40% Carignan

From Pic St Loup, which is 35 km north of Montpellier. The area is surrounded by wild forest and garrigue, giving local wines a wild herby tinge. This is clean, purple, and very drinkable. Made without sulphites which makes the wine even fresher. Highly recommended.

From the very best Tasmanian vineyards comes this vibrant yet delicate non vintage Rosé – a wine created for enjoyment and refreshment. Crafted in the Old World style, but with inspiration from today’s innovative techniques and knowledge.

Coupling Old World inspiration with New World innovation, Jansz Tasmania crafts this wine from vineyards throughout Tasmania, all of which produce high-quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Fantastic value.

Soalheiro Alvarinho has the nickname ‘Clássico’, as it was the first wine ever to be made by the family, back in 1982. Since then, it remains our most classic style of single varietal Alvarinho, with aromatic freshness, intense flavour, and an unusual evolution in the bottle – it is a wine that goes well with any occasion!

Grape Varieties: Castelão

The Serra Mãe is made from 100% Castelão, grown on the free-draining, sandy soils East of Palmela. It was naturally fermented (no added yeast), and then subsequently aged, in concrete vats.

We had the opportunity to bottle our own interpretation of this grape, and we selected this wine because we think it displays a pure sense of variety and place.

The wine shows cherry and bramble fruits, some green herbs, and a fresh and juicy texture. Its fresh acidity is a perfect match for slow-roast lamb or toad in the hole.

The cellar dog selection are beautifully fruit-driven, unpretentious red and white wines that accompany your daily meals, aperitifs and party events. These wines are made without oak contact, thus emphasizing their pure fruit character. Both are named after the winery’s pets, Lili the cellar dog, and Cookie the cellar rabbit, who are extended members of the team.

Lili Cellar Dog Selection is a blend of Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Nacional fermented and aged in stainless steel containers.

“Deep crimson. Rich, chewy and deliciously firm and dry, the texture giving it a mineral savour. Pure, dry, long.”

This iconic cuvée of the house, created for the first time in 1876 for the Tsar of Russia, Cristal is crafted from 45 exceptional lieux-dits, spread across 7 Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Blancs. Only created in very special vintages!

Darker expression of Pinot Noir with blackberries, liquorice (bordering on ammonium at first, which blows off after a proper decant), cherry liquor and even some espresso beans. Underneath there is beautiful structure and freshness; it's superbly zingy, tangy and full of pinosity. The finish is long and beautiful.

Lovely now and should be just as fine over the next ten years. Benefited a lot from some air. I think this would pair with a lot of different food, no need to veer on the side of caution here.

Strong dark brown with a delicate caramel taste. Soft in the drink with a pleasantly proud dark malt character, wonderfully full-bodied. Our Hofbräuhaus Traunstein Dunkles has been brewed according to tradition for over 400 years. The beer from the good old days.

Original gravity: 12.9° Alcohol content: 5.0% vol.
Ingredients: water, barley malt , hops

Mid amber with slight green highlights, this wine offers a concentrated nose displaying malt and treacle with a touch of preserved fig. The complex and intense palate is full of luscious toffee, honey and fresh cold tea characters. With an average age of around eight years, the Classic Topaque displays freshness and varietal character balanced by subtle age complexity from time in barrel.

Make no mistake, we are in world class territory. Robert Parker compared the sweet wines of Tirecul as the most notable sweet wines from anywhere in the world. Les Pins is the estates entry level sweet wine.

A delicious, aromatic, semi-sparkling dessert wine with grapey notes... and all that at 5% ABV. A wine to make you smile!

Distinct and luscious. Flavours of dark plum, cherry liqueurs, cola cube and old fashioned root beer leads to complex flavours of integrated oak, spice and a smooth and juicy finish. A wine which combines plenty of ripe cherry fruit with a unique soul and character.

This bone-dry blanquette has a tight and finely textured mousse. It shows great typicity with apple blossoms and honey on the nose with a bright, crisp and delicately nutty palate.

To say this wine is made from some of the world's best Chenin Blanc terroir is no overstatement, although only labelled an Anjou Blanc this is purely down to French wine politics. In fact, it comes from vineyards designated Charme for sweet wines that surround the famous Grand Cru Quarts de Chaume where some of the world's greatest sweet wines come from. Because this is a very rare dry wine from those vineyards it is not allowed to use those illustrious badges. Working biodynamically owner Vanessa Cherruau believes that really good dry Chenin Blancs can also be made from this top terroir, and so she has proved. Ripe aromas of peach, nectarine and apricot lead onto a medium-full bodied soft palate with honeyed notes and balanced acidity. This is an elegant wine that is really rather moreish.

Very bright yet ripe with plenty of citrus pith. Clean as a whistle, that lip smacking acidity will ensure that first bottle will disappear pretty quickly.

A well-balanced single malt Irish whiskey, Sexton has been created by master distiller Alex Thomas and is made with 100% Irish malted barley. It is triple distilled before being aged in ex-oloroso sherry casks, giving it a rich, fruity character with notes of honeycomb.

Pedro Ximénez grapes are laid out in the sun after picking until they are practically raisins. After that the
fermentation starts slowly and it’s halted to maintain all the natural sugars. The resulting wine ages in for 12 years
in contact with the air in Jerez de la Frontera. Ebony in colour with iodine highlights. The aromas are reminiscent
of figs, raisins and dates. Enormously sweet, velvety and soft on the palate, well balanced, with a very long finish.

Very floral nose, blossom, ripe Apple and limes leap out of the glass, the wine has a very mineral edge. The palate shows richness and purity with sweet, mouth-filling fruit. The wine is very focused displaying notes of lime, ripe apples, and minerals, with tangy acidity and great length.

This beautifully balanced and classic white Burgundy has a savoury, salty, biscuity nose with a restrained, mineral palate. Oak ageing has lent a creaminess to the nose and gives broader texture before a long finish.

Chardonnay grapes sourced from Gevrey Chambertin and Auxey Duresses. Regular plowing and minimal fertilisers as well as minimal pruning to promote vigour and reduce yield. The grapes are hand picked and transported to the winery in small containers. Fermentation in foudre followed by transfer to 1 year old French barriques (Berthoumieu) for 12 months. During this time the barrels are rolled to stir up the lees - this happens 4 times a year after which the wine is left on its lees for a further 3 months. The wine is fined with bentonite prior to bottling but not filtered. Glam up your roast chicken dinner with this classic white Burgundy.

Purchased in 1998 by Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, internationally renowned
winemaker and co-owner of St Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classé “A” Château Angélus,
Château La Fleur de Boüard is located close to the village of Néac on the most sought
after terroir of Lalande-de-Pomerol. A rich and beautifully full-bodied wine with aromas of blackberry, blueberry and vanilla. Well sculpted with floral notes and velvety tannins. This is now over 10 years old, and the wine has reached its perfect drinking window.

Vinification: Manual harvests in boxes throughout the entire estate. Double
sorting of the grapes with destalking (no crushing). Alcoholic fermentation in open vats (soft maceration for 3-4 weeks). 7 to 10 months in oak vat.
Style
A typical St-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. A fruity and lively style, slightly spiced with floral notes. Enjoy up to 3-4 years after vintage.

Organic 100% Cab Franc

Vineyard :Granitic and alluvium soil. Natural cover cropping to avoid erosion. Treatments are limited as much as possible depending on the weather, no pesticides to preserve biodiversity, only organic fertilisers. Control
of vigour and yield by leaf stripping, debudding in spring and green harvesting for better ripening of the grapes.
Vinification: In the cellar, sorting, crushing and partial destemming. 3-week maceration in open tanks. Aged for 7 months 50% in barrels and 50% in vats. Assembly of the different plots before bottling.
Style: Pleasant and aromatic wine. Pretty fresh red fruits and delicate spices
give a beautiful expression of syrah.

Grown according to sustainable viticulture with Guyot pruning. The bunches are harvested by hand
and then transported to the winery where they are sorted, with some de-stemming (maximum 25%),
then fermented using native yeasts in open wooden vats along with the whole bunches. The grapes are
crushed and pumped over daily. Traditionally long, the fermentation takes around twenty days after
which the wine is transferred to oak barrels and aged for 16 to 20 months on fine lees.
TASTING NOTE
Morello cherry, raspberry and a touch of blackcurrant and liquorice on the nose. The palate is firm and
fresh in youth and will continue to evolve beautifully.
FOOD MATCH
Vegetable gratin or pork loin. Also lovely with mild fresh cheeses such as Savarin or Epoisses.

A vibrant pale pink with a delicate coppery tone. On the nose this rosé evokes aromas of fresh lemon, exotic fruit with a delicate floral aroma. On the palate, this rosé is bursting with ripe red fruit and a refreshing citrus flavour finished with subtle white pepper spice.

A blend of Cinsault 30%, Grenache Noir 30%, Syrah 30%, and Vermentino 10%.

Notas Frutales de Albariño is set in the Codado de Tea sub-zone of Rias Baixas, in the south-eastern corner of the DO, towards the Portuguese border. There, further inland, the climate is a touch more clement than the prevailing cool, damp conditions that define Rias Baixas, and the Alonso family farm six Albariño vineyards on the right bank of the Miño River, at around 300m altitude. The Trucha bottling, named after the trout that José Alonso would fish for in the Miño as a child, is a classic rendering, with tropical peach and apricot flavours set off by piercing apple and saline notes on the finish. This is a more textured style of Albarino and really works very well with food, particularly trout.

A Nebbiolo rosé! A rarity indeed. This wine is absolutely perfect with BBQed red meats. It has a little more structure and tannins than your more usual pink wines and as such works really well with grilled steaks and lamb. I can really recommend this wine.

An outstanding syrah-dominant Rhône red, full-bodied and packed with spicy dark fruit. Aged in a mixture of foudres and large barrels, this is made by the talented Adrien Fabre in the little-known appellation of Saint-Maurice.

50% Procanico, 50% Grechetto

Mario Soldati used to define the Orvieto as “… unique and treacherous. Treacherous because nowadays the occasions to find the authentic one in great shape are significantly less numerous than the ones in which it is found altered and weakened … ” (Vino al Vino, 1975 trip).
“Tragugnano” unquestionably belongs to the group of the “less numerous”, that is the one of the “authentic” and “in great shape” Orvieto wines. It is a living testament to the winemaking tradition of the proud and placid Umbria, a land of mysticism and battles. Tasting it is like listening to an old traditional song in which every note is perfectly in its place, a song you never want it to end.

rançois and Julien Pinon are renowned for producing exceptional wines in the Vouvray region. François, who previously worked as a child psychologist, assumed control of the vineyard from his father in 1987 and has since established a strong reputation for the estate. As a committed winemaker, his primary objective is to maintain the distinctive characteristics of both the appellation and the vintage in all of his wines. With Julien`s involvement, the family`s commitment to organic viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking has been further solidified. For this particular release, the wine was aged in previously used barrels for a duration of 4 months prior to bottling. It exhibits delightful hints of green apple, delicately enveloping a core of vibrant, lively acidity.

Viognier, Marsanne and Clairette blend. Rich and limpid, the almost exotic stone fruit flavours are restrained by precise notes of lime. The deftest touch of oak adds texture and weight without overwhelming any of the fruit characters, and the finish just keeps going and going. Truely a wonderful wine. Pair this with roast Chicken and be in foody heaven!

Beautifully vivacious and fruity on the nose. Mulberries, soft red fruits on the palate, with soft tannins
to give some pleasing structure to this very moreish light red wine. Organic.
