Russolo Doi Raps is a white wine of rare elegance and freshness, a blend of Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc from the high quality region of Fruili-Venezia-Giulia. The nose reveals warm and intense aromas that immediately bring to mind ripe fruits and roses, remeniscent of Gewurztraminer. In the mouth it is pleasantly soft, round, well supported by an excellent acidic shoulder and overall elegance. Closes with a nice return on the fruit before a final clean and excellent persistence. Soft and enveloping, it is a wine to pair with first courses based on shellfish, such as linguine with lobster. Also excellent as an aperitif or with Asian cuisine.
