For us, Mercurey is a great option as prices remain very reasonable compared to the more illustrious appellations of the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. Michel Juillot’s 2023 ‘Vignes de Maillonge’ is our favourite right now. It’s silky, fresh and elegant with flavours ripe raspberry, cherry and sweet spice. Delicious!
