Domaine de Cambis Kalliope Blanc

Kalliope is made from white grape vines planted six years ago. It is a wink to our great grandmother who was from Crete and her perpetual good mood. It is also the name of one of the children of Greek god Zeus.

This cuvee shows the real potential of white wines made from schist soils. It is fine and complex and has great minerality. 

The fresh and mineral attack is supported by nice roundness. It’s an appealing wine that unveils its secrets all along the tasting.

It will pair perfectly with fish. For example a tartar of sea bream with artichoke hearts or gorgonzola risotto.
