Chateau Mazetier Bordeaux Rouge

Classic Medoc from a family enterprise situated just north of Saint-Estèphe, achieving Cru Bourgeois status in 1993. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a touch of Cabernet franc and Malbec, this lovely Bordeaux blend strikes the perfect balance; fresh blackcurrant, berries and plum, with a leafiness and perfume that brings brightness to the palate. Medium body and tannin, with a notes of cedar and spice giving depth and leading to a long and moreish finish. An easy food pair to meats, cheeses and flavourful vegetable dishes. Concentrated but with a refreshing lightness on the palate.
