Chateau Angludet

Chateau Angludet is always amongst our go-to for reliability and high-quality in Margaux. Delicious, ripe and rich with a wonderful pure, bright and crunchy core of red berries that really leaves you wanting more. We have always had a great fondness for this chateaux but it's not really since 2008 that we have really fallen in love with it. the 2011 really shines and at this price it's definitely worth looking at a case or two for the cellar. Reasonably early drinking too; now - 2026. For 2013, the magnum is just hitting it's stride and is en-pointe to drink up now. A less tannic year, this shows softness and maturity, marrying forest floor aromas with stewed plum , blackberry, and blackcurrant, and cedar-graphite notes.
