Lussac St Emilion region of Bordeaux is noted as a prime location in Bordeaux for growing Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This blend of predominantly Merlot is soft, plump, and wonderfully rounded. A stellar vintage in Bordeaux, this is drinking superbly now. Influenced by the terroir of the region with its mix of clay and limestone, the wine shows subtle graphite notes and a fresh palate. Perfect when served with red meats or hard cheeses.
