Hamilton Russell Vineyards
Hamilton Russell Pinot Noir
On low-vigour, stony, clay-rich soil, in a cool maritime mesoclimate, naturally tiny yields of well under 35 hl/ha give rise to a certain tightness, tannin line and elevated length to balance the richness and generosity of this Pinot Noir. The wine is not overtly fruity but it is soft and generous and shows hints of alluring savoury “primal” character along with a dark, spicy, complex primary fruit perfume. Classy and classic.
Herencia Altes take as much trouble making their entry level wines as they do their top cuvee's, and it really shows in the wonderful red wine. Rich and textured with deep layers of dark red fruits and a wionderfull long finish, this is a stunning allrounder that can be drunk on its own or with grilled meats and anything from a Sunday roast to bangers and mash!

Tenuta San Guido
Guidalberto Tenuta San Guido 2015
From these legendary winemakers who broke the rules in Tuscany, Guidalberto has great energy and length with an aroma of dark fruits and spices with nuances of violets, roses and a hint of tobacco. Smooth textures and deep plum fruits combine with a crunchy redcurrant character and a hint of dark chocolate to create a wonderfully balanced wine with excellent definition. Plenty enough going on to improve for another decade in bottle.
Ktima Gerovassilou Viogner
There's Greek wine and there's Greek wine.. This is not the stuff of beachside Tavernas, but comes from one of the most modern and accomplished winemakers in Greece. If you are a Viogner fan or not, this is a must-try; silken, rich and supple, beautifully fruited and just packed with complexity and finesse. A shop favourite.
Clos Du Val
Clos du Val Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Legendary wine from a legendary estate, this is the stuff of legends! Clos du Val have been making wine in Napa longer than most, and Napa Valley Cabernet needs no introduction - its bold, plush, rich and ripely fruited, and just hugs you like a bear. When Bordeaux become a little blasé, you go to Napa for some blue-sky thinking. You can liertally taste those long, sunny California days when you dribnk a wine like this. And who doesn't want that?!
Marques de Murrieta
Marques de Murrieta Reserva 2014
Bodegas Marqués de Murrieta is a classic winery in Rioja that has more than 160 years experience in the world of viniculture. This wine is a coupage of Tempranillo, Garnacha tinta, Mazuelo and Graciano varieties grown in Finca Ygay that can be found between 320 meters to 485 metres above sea level. Thanks to the location of the estate, close to Sierra de Cantabria, the temperatures are very mild and the mountain is a barrier for the cold winds from the north. Marqués de Murrieta Reserva rests for 16 months in American oak barrels and 24 months in the bottle before release. The resultant wine is a mix of classicism and modernity, with rich sweet oak notes balancing bright blackberry and plum fruits and baking spices. Just delicious.
