Zagari Vermentino, Sicily -Full of Sicilian lemon and sea salt character this is just the perfect wine to have with fish and seafood. An appealing savouriness, and good texture here too from some time spent on lees (also a common trait of Muscadet). Pair with lobster ravioli or crab linguine for a match made in heaven. 

Dveri Pax, Slovenia - this estate belongs to the Benedictine Monastery of Admont and wine has been made here since 1139 A.D. The Pax wine is made from local grape Furmint, blended with Pinot Gris, with an enlivening splash of Riesling. Dry, crisp, brightly fruited and mineral, this could literally be the Holy Grail!

Orballo Albarino, Rias Baixas, Spain - the supreme white grape of Northwestern Spain. Notes of white peach combine with fresh-cut citrus and a refreshing salinity. Great volume and persistence leading to the typically characteristic salty aftertaste. Great with BBQ'd sardines.

Beppe Morchetto Rosso, Italy - An easy drinking Italian red made from Corvina and Merlot from the shores of Lake Garda. Perfect party wine.

Alabastro, Alentejano, Portugal - based on Tempranillo (known locally as Aragonez) and a blend of local and native varieties. Deep, rounded and smooth. A satisfying and classy red wine, full of Portuguese personality.

Sepp Moser Organic Zweigelt, Austria - Pinot noir fans will enjoy this classic Austrian Zweigelt, Elegant like Pinot, but quite rich, with spicy undertones and a smooth structure. A great red to pair with fish and seafood, along with game.

Clos du val Zinfandel, Napa Valley, California - legendary wine from California's Napa Valley. Luscious, ripe, and deep with full-bodied prune, tobacco and raisin notes. Perfect with crispy duck.

Cotes du Auxerre 2017, Burgundy - Lithe and juicy yet refined and precise. Subtle oak use lends further class and complexity. Our favourite Pinot under £20. Lovely.

Los Haroldos Malbec, Mendoza - From high altitude vineyards in the esteemed uco Valley. Plush with plum, damson, and blueberry fruit, mocha and vanilla. 12 months in oak give structure and softness to the tannins. Lovely.

Stockwerk Gruner Weltliner, Austria, Organic - bright stone fruits and citrus with just a touch of spice in this wonderfully linear and precise white wine from Austria. A flinty backbone gives structure and leaves you wanting more.
