From renowned winemaker Phillipe Bouzereau, comes this pristine and definitive expression of an extremely fine Chardonnay. Opulent and mouthwatering, with intense floral and citrus fruits combined with nutty, spicy nuances. Full bodied yet silky on the palate, this has an extraordinarily fine, long finish. The Monopole status indicates the relatively rare instance of this coming from a single plot in the Meursault region, outside of Cru status. Absolutely top class.

AIX now available in 75 cl! Magnums and larger formats are also available. Fragrant and well balanced, salmon pink in colour the nose is fresh and fragrant, delicate yet youthful and offers classy notes of watermelon, strawberries and flowers.

A tight, minerally wine with classic Hamilton Russell Vineyards length and complexity. Unusually prominent pear and lime fruit aromas and flavours are brought beautifully into focus by a tight line of bright natural acid and a long, dry minerality. An elegant, yet textured and intense wine with a strong personality of both place and vintage.

On low-vigour, stony, clay-rich soil, in a cool maritime mesoclimate, naturally tiny yields of well under 35 hl/ha give rise to a certain tightness, tannin line and elevated length to balance the richness and generosity of this Pinot Noir. The wine is not overtly fruity but it is soft and generous and shows hints of alluring savoury “primal” character along with a dark, spicy, complex primary fruit perfume. Classy and classic.

This exquisite and superb-value wine has a fine, elegant nose of fresh red-cherry fruit and sweet spice, and a perfumed bouquet with hints of pot pourri, raspberry tea and red liquorice. Developing notes of leather and tobacco. The balanced acidity – one of López de Heredia’s trademarks – is astonishing, as is its complexity and freshness, while the finish is enduring, mouthcoating and intense. A true masterpiece of Rioja winemaking.
