Cabernet franc with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. A rush of red fruit on the nose, alongside notes of green bell pepper, common to Cabernet Franc. Made without oak, for primarily young drinking, the red fruit aromas give way to deeper flavours of blackberry with some red licorice, clove and cherry spice, all culminating in a soft and fresh finish. Enjoy a glass or two with a Frencher-than-French steak tartare, or lentil soup with smoked ham. Or pop in the fridge for half an hour for a refreshing aperitif, perhaps with a little Goats cheese.
