This competes to be one of our best wines under £10. Cotes du Rhone can be so generic, flat, and frankly average. By contrast, this is fresh, soft, yet full-flavoured and surprisingly long on the palate. Chock full of wild strawberry, white pepper and even hints of shrubby herbs like lavender, it works at room temp or lightly chilled as a summer refresher. A brilliant all-rounder.
