Berthenet Montagny Tete du Cuvee

One of the best examples of un-oaked chardonnay from the Chalonnais. François picks relatively late in order to guarantee full maturity of the fruit leading to a wonderfully decadent Montagny that provides weighty, exotic fruit, raised entirely without oak. Despite this, it is incredibly engaging and seductive. Expect a tight and mineral palate alive with lemon and stone fruit.  Finishes crisp and long.
