A Bordeaux-inspired blend of five varieties by leading winemaker Karim Mussi. Bodega Alandes was built in 1904. "Paradoux Blend" is an oenological paradox in itselt, being a blend of not only grapes, but vintages as well, creating a unique and multi-faceted expression. This wine is made up of equal parts Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, each of which were aged separately, and then together, for 12 months in French oak barrels. The result is a harmoniously complex and original blend. Packed ripe blackberry and damson fruit with hints of chocolate and spice. Rich and full, with great length, and a value competitor to the finest wines of the Medoc.
