Distilled in Barbados, this expression from Mount Gay was named for the 'double phenomenon' of a total solar eclipse and the passage of Halley's comet in 1910. The nose is full and rounded with notes of fresh flowers and honey, a little vanilla and tropical fruit. The palate is fruity and well-rounded with notes of banana, vanilla, smoke, toasty oak, spice. The finish is long and spiced with toasty oak.

Ramsbury Gin is a rare thing, one of the few single estate gins made in the UK. Ramsbury believe that you can't make great gin without first making great vodka. Ramsbury Gin starts its journey on the estate as Horatio wheat. It is then distilled through their 43 plate copper still, creating a base spirit that gives the gin an incredibly smooth texture.

Floral tones and crisp quince fades into more savoury juniper, with a refreshing finish and a touch of spice. Smoothness abounds and this single estate spirit sits at the sweeter end of London Dry Gin.

The first tipple to come from Edinburgh's Port of Leith Distillery has arrived in the shape of Lind & Lime Gin! The name is inspired by Dr. James Lind of Edinburgh, who conducted one of the first clinical trials aboard the HMS Salisbury. In these trials, he noted that the scurvy patients eating citrus fruits were showing good signs. Hence the addition of lime within this gin. To balance the powerful citrus freshness, the distillers also used pink peppercorn alongside five other botanicals (including juniper) to create the recipe.

Our house favourite for a traditional, great value gin. The new incarnation of Hawthorn's London Dry Gin still pays homage to the creator's seafaring grandfather, a commander in the British Navy during the war, and also still features botanicals sourced from all over the world, including juniper from Macedonia, nutmeg from Sri Lanka and cassia bark from Indonesia.

The brand revamped its core expression to increase the strength. Previously bottled at 37.5% ABV, now at 41% ABV which, in our opinion, makes that zestiness shine.
