Aigle Les Murailles Rouge
One of the regions iconic labels, Les Murailles is consistently a wine to seek out. Zesty, with lemon peel, Poire William, and a hint of warm spice. Aromatic and moreish, from Switzerland’s grape, Chasselas.
AIX now available in 75 cl! Magnums and larger formats are also available. Fragrant and well balanced, salmon pink in colour the nose is fresh and fragrant, delicate yet youthful and offers classy notes of watermelon, strawberries and flowers.
Hamilton Russell Vineyards
Hamilton Russell Pinot Noir
Our low-vigour, stony, clay-rich soil, cool maritime mesoclimate, naturally tiny yields of well under 35 hl/ha give rise to a certain tightness, tannin line and elevated length to balance the richness and generosity of this Pinot Noir. The wine is not overtly fruity but it is soft and “sweet” and it generally shows hints of that alluring savoury “primal” character along with a dark, spicy, complex primary fruit perfume.
R. Lopez de Heredia
Vina Tondonia Tinto Reserva
Classically old-fashioned Rioja that has stuck to it’s 1877 roots.Fine natural warmth and smooth, slightly nutty flavours. Full of controlled evergy and a firm finish.A really lovely wine. Steven Spurriers choice.
Vin de Constance
One of the worlds finest sweet wines.Dried Muscat grapes are aged in cask for three years before bottling.Citrus, orange zest, rosewater and spice notes leap out of the glass.Laser-like focus and massive sweetness balanced by acidity and a mineral finish. As impressive as Chateau d’Yquem (and considerably better value!)
Demeter Zoltan Tokaj Eszter
Golden colour, gloriously scented, and sumptuously fruited. Luscious pineapple and barley sugar sweetness, butterscotch, brown sugar and marmalade. Juicy and unctuous, balanced by bright lemon-curd acidity. Very long.
